In yesterday’s game between the Thrashers and Penguins, a fight broke out after the Thrashers’ first goal. At one point, Sidney Crosby gives Boris Valabik 3 solid punches from behind while teammate Kris Letang held Valabik down. Crosby was clearly the third man in on this “fight” and he sucker punched Valabik not once, not twice, but three times yet he was only accessed a roughing minor.

The Honda zamboni was so excited to get inside Wrigley field that it jumped off of the truck that was transporting it. Luckily, no one (including the zamboni) was injured.

Eric – Sens – Auld is back in net for the Sens.
Marc – Devils - Did you know Ottawa has the worst road record in the eastern conference?

Eric – Sabres - LaBarbera in net for the Kings + Sabres on home ice = Sabres win.
Marc – Sabres – Did you know LA has the worst road record in the western conference?
Rory – Sabres – LA sucks. Plain and simple.
#29 New York Islanders @ #19 Minnesota Wild
Eric – Wild – The Wild are 3-6-1 in their last 10 games and have only 1 standings point in their last 6 games. This is the perfect game for them to break out. *gimmie*
Marc – Wild – The Wild have been slumping, but the Isles can help any team get out of a slump. Plus Backstrom is my fantasy team goalie. *gimmie*
Rory – Wild – Even though the Wild aren’t doin’ so well lately, but it’s the Sucklanders. My grandmother could beat them, and she’s been dead for 5 years. Sorry grandma. But it’s true. *gimmie*
#7 Chicago Blackhawks @ #9 Calgary Flames
Eric – Hawks - Hawks have an extra day of rest since spanking the Oilers 9-2.
Marc – Flames - Chicago has been on fire lately. But so have the Flames. Kiprusoff is my other fantasy team goalie.
Rory – Flames - I love those campaign ads, but somethin’s tellin’ me to go with the Flames on this one.
#13 Anaheim Ducks @ #23 Edmonton Oilers
Eric – Ducks - Hiller>Roloson
Marc – Ducks - The Ducks defensemen have been practicing putting their clothes back on after getting undressed. Pronger is relieved that Nigel Dawes is not on Edmonton.
Rory – Oilers - I know this is a bad pick, but the Oilers got bichslapped with the 9-2 loss the other day, so maybe they’ll be all mad and looking to rebound.
