Valiquette On For Another Season

From Steve Zipay:
[G]oaltender Steve Valiquette is under contract for next season. That’s what I was told by two Rangers sources. Another beat writer (I think Andrew) said yesterday that Valiquette had told him that as well. Not sure about the $$$, will check into that today. Confirmed: $725,000.
Stevie V has been a solid backup for Henrik Lundqvist for the past two years and by all accounts is a great guy to have on the team – I’m pretty stoked that he’ll be around for the coming year.
