He's probably a better skater than Orr and an upgrade as a fighter, but it's going to take a long time for me to get used to him. I'm biased: Betts is one of my faves and that play made me furious. If you phrase it as a trade, Orr and Betts for Brashear, I'd veto it every day. The PK worries me. There's plenty of time to get another specialist and Callahan shows promise there, but how do you let the two most important pieces just walk away? As for Redden, I can't imagine Dallas or San Jose taking him, but stranger things have happened. Maybe they can work something out similar to the Avery situation. We did Dallas a favor, maybe they return. Overall D depth doesn't worry me as much...I'm drinking the Del Zotto/Gilroy Kool-Aid for now. We'll see come September, but I think they'll be ok.
