Just like Lundqvist, we have everything covered in this New York Rangers (and NHL) Blog

What’s to come…

IMG_0004We’ve been pretty bad at regularly updating the site. So bad that coming up in the next week or two will be pictures from our October trip to Montreal! I say the next week or two because this coming week I have finals, and then after that I’ll be free!

I mean.  It’s not like we haven’t been following the Rangers.  It’s just that their play isn’t very inspiring at the moment.  A while ago, Rodent over at HockeyRodent discussed how he was beginning to feel that the game wrap-ups were becoming a chore.  I completely understand how he felt at the time.

As I write this, the most recent story on the site is about Valiquette being waived.  That happened eleven days ago!  I know, I know.  We phased out game previews and recaps and the site slowed to a crawl.  The fact is, we just felt there were unnecessary.  Add in the fact that AP and Getty both threatened legal action for us using their pictures and you’ve got yourself some pictureless, uninspired posts.  Not stuff you guys want to read.

I’m not saying you’ll never see a game preview or game recap from us ever again. What I am saying is that you’re not going to see one from us unless it’s a game we’re particularly excited for or unless something happened in a game that we feel really passionate about and need to opine.

Aside from that, there are about a billion other websites (some of which are listed to the right) that will give you previews and/or recaps.  All with different opinions about which player sucks the most or who needs to be traded or bought out or sent to Hartford.

I guess the point in this is to let you know that yes, we are still here; yes, we are still going to update; and yes, it will be be glorious.  So don’t go leaving just yet.

Plus, if you don’t feel like checking in everyday to see if we’ve updated, why not subscribe to the RSS feed?  It will automagically tell you when we’ve updated!

Enjoy your Sunday night, folks.  As for me, I’m off to the Giants game with Marc.
