Dear New York Rangers, These Winter Classic Jerseys Are Fake

Dear New York Rangers,

Today at the Home Opener I saw at least 10-20 people wearing these fake Winter Classic jerseys:

This jersey is fake. Do not buy it.

The instant clue that these are fake is the Winter Classic patch on the chest. That logo was made up by someone on a Flyers messageboard.

This is what the actual 2012 Winter Classic Logo looks like:

It is a shame that so many people have been cheated out of their money by these counterfeiters. I feel that the New York Rangers need to put a message out there warning the fans that these jerseys are fake.

Currently, the best we can hope for is that as many blogs as possible pick up this story and get the word out. People need to stop buying these fakes.
